Easy at home non dairy milk

I cup of Brazil nuts covered in water and soaked overnight.
Drain the nuts after soaking.
In a blender (I have a Ninja blender) pulse the nuts and 1 cup of water for at least 2 minutes.
Some people use a nut bag, I just use a cheese cloth and strainer over a large bowl. Press down on the pulp with a spoon gently to get the water out.
In a mason jar pour in the nut water and add an additional 1/2 cup of water plus a small container of coconut cream (6-7 ounces) not coconut milk. You can find the coconut cream at Asian markets.
Sweeten the milk with 1 TBSP vanilla extra and 1 TBSP maple syrup.
Close the lid of the mason jar tightly and shake.
There are a ton of non dairy milk recipes on the internet.
My recipe works well if you like a thicker non dairy beverage closer to half & half.
I mainly use it for iced beverages & cooking.
PS - do not throw out the nut pulp. Once it dries you can use it for baking.
